We’re excited to collaborate with SkiBig3 to host an inclusive skiing/snowboard ski lessons for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC). Whether you’re a first-timer or have some experience, this is your chance to hit the slopes at : Norquay, Banff, AB, in a supportive and welcoming environment. Together, we’re creating a day focused on community, learning, and fun!
📅 Date: Friday February 27th, 2026
📍 Location: Norquay, Banff, AB
👤 Age: 15+ (Minors must have a parent/guardian present to sign rental waivers.)
⏰ Time: 930 AM – 4 PM Please allow sufficient time to park, as ski resort parking can be busy. Please be punctual so that any lessons may start on time.
Fee: $80 (price is the same whether you require rentals or not this price includes lift ticket, lesson and rentals)
This day will include morning lessons tailored to your skill level and, for those who qualify as confident blue skier/boarder, there is a Guided Adventure in the afternoon as an option. Your abilities will be assessed during the morning session, and instructors will accompany participants on the afternoon guided runs.
**DEADLINE: Thurs February 5th 9:00 AM MST** Payment is required to secure your spot. We will confirm your spots by Thursday February 12th 2026 by 6:00 PM MST
The waitlist will open up to other applicants if someone drops out, we will contact individuals on a case by case basis to fill any open spots. So if you do cancel or opt out communicate with us as soon as possible.

- Preference: Preference will be given to those who have less experience skiing in order to provide them with the opportunity to try the sport and/or previous participation in Soul of Miistaki. However do not hesitate to apply if you are more advanced (advanced placements will be prioritized by participants who haven't attended Soul of Miistaki events or willingness to mentor new skiers).
